Congratulations to all of our winners for the 2004 awards who are listed below. We would also like to thank all those visitors who took a few minutes of their time to vote, and those retailers and companies who took part and supported the awards.

THE FIREWORK EMPORIUM, IPSWICH

The Firework Emporium win this award for the second year running with customers again praising customer service and a good range of fireworks. Firework Emporium's annual "warts and all" stock firing in front of a public audience continues to draw great praise.

THE FIREWORK EMPORIUM, IPSWICH

The Ipswich branch of Firework Emporium defend their title of "Best Firework Shop" by winning this award for the second year in a row, with voters pleased with clear layout, in-store DVD of their products and knowledgeable, non-hard sell staff.

THE FIREWORK EMPORIUM

Making it a hat-trick of awards for The Firework Emporium for 2004, their website was voted best with their on-line video and humorous descriptions receiving positive comments.

KIMBOLTON FIREWORKS

Kimbolton successfully defend three of their awards starting with the prestigious Best Brand. Good build quality, reliability and top class effects are reasons you said you thought they were the best with key items such as Lake Of Sapphires continuing to impress.

SOUTHPORT MUSICAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

A new winner this year for Best Event, the Southport Musical Championships. You went, you enjoyed it, you voted it the Best Firework Event for 2004!

STAMPEDE, PLANET FIREWORKS

A new winner for Best Firework this year and in fact one of the items that was in contention in 2003 too - Planet's Stampede. Manic pace, screeches and bangs create a near-professional barrage. A very deserved winner.

LAKE OF SAPPHIRES, KIMBOLTON

After missing out on Best Firework this year, Lake Of Sapphires successfully defends its Best Cake or Candle award. Blue is still the colour to have with around forty seconds of hard core pyro action and much noise.

THE ORB, MEN SHUN

Proving that an oversized and visually appealing exterior can actually hide a stunning performance too by winning Best Rocket, Men Shun's Orb makes it two years in a row. It seems that you just cannot get enough of the shiny case and it packs a punch too.

GLITTERING GEMSTONES, KIMBOLTON

One of the cheapest fountains on the market, and only rated as a garden firework, but a staggering performance for the price sees this take your votes for the second year running. Is there still nothing to match the mighty Gemstones?

MINSTER MINES, MINSTER

Powerful, single shot mortar mines in several flavours. Minster's concentration on content rather than packaging secured your votes for the second year running. These are gaining a cult following for those who want a short, sharp blast.

STARMAN ROCKET PACK, FIREWORK EMPORIUM

This pack of five small rockets has caused quite a storm by delivering a mighty performance for a fiver, and gets your vote for Best Garden Firework 2004.

MISSILE OF STAR, DEVCO

Few would be surprised at this result, even for a second year in a row. Devco's brilliant three-tone cake has been making audiences laugh for several years.

STAMPEDE, PLANET FIREWORKS

Wonderful artwork showing leaping horses won your votes for Best Label Artwork. It has a performance to match too, winning Best Overall Firework 2004.
